Stress is occupational disease number 1 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Absenteeism due to work stress was no less than 11.1 million days in 2022, which meant a cost of 3.1 billion euros. Other common causes of stress include health problems, traumatic events, or major life changes such as moving, having a child, or changing jobs.<\/p>\n

The paradox of active relaxation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Exercising may seem like a counterintuitive way to relax, but make no mistake! When you exercise, your body activates the release of endorphins, also known as 'happiness hormones'. This powerful chemical in your brain improves your mood, relieves pain and\u2026 yes: reduces stress. I don't want to claim that everyone experiences a euphoric feeling after a workout. But believe me, exercising will give you more relaxation than a large glass of wine or a bar of chocolate. In any case, it contributes to a more relaxed and positive outlook on life.<\/p>\n

The biggest barrier to exercise is often not a lack of will.
